Take care of the board space - usually don't play Filavandrel into Frog Mating Season in a long round; mid length round is optimal for the deck as whole. If steering towards long round because of engine advantage, rather buff Filavandrel to 9.

Mahakam Pass fits incredibly well in this deck. Tempering is a nature card and its effective carryover could easily exceed 10 points. Moreover buff can be used to protect vulnerable engines (especially Naiad Fledglings) or set up a treant for Naiad Pondkeeper offensive play. Always play Mahakam on drypass if possible.
