No, this is not a joke* :)
An extremely powerful, simple, and low-budget Syndicate deck designed for the Switcheroo Seasonal Event. Because the Switcheroo event switches your hand with your opponent's hand, it is important for your cards to be more valuable to you than they are to your opponent.
This deck specializes in having cards that only help you, not your opponent, by giving you many cards that generate coins, but no cards to spend those coins. That means that the coins do nothing for your opponent, but you can still use your leader ability to make a Sea Jackal, which will be the only coin spender in the match, making it the most significant card in the match (and one that your opponent cannot use).
The strategy is simple: generate coins (ideally, start with cards that give points and coins first, since those are the ones that would be most valuable to your opponent, then leave them with cards that only create coins). When you get your opponent's hand, play whatever their best cards are (or use whatever could stop your Sea Jackal). Then, play your Sea Jackal near/at the end of the round to turn those coins into points.
Repeat the same strategy in Round 2/3 with your second leader ability charge to create another Sea Jackal to win the round.
*Disclaimer: Okay, I did meme a little. If you want to use higher provision cost cards (but trust me, you don't have to), then you can replace the Fisstech Trafficker, Dip in the Pontar, Tidecloak Ransackers, Smuggle, and/or Shakedown with Sigi Reuven, Imke, the Flying Redanian, Ferko the Sculptor, Pickpocket, Eavesdrop, Caleb Menge, and/or The Witchfinder. Just make sure to keep devotion for the Mutants Maker and do not add any coin spenders - the point of the deck is for the Sea Jackal to be the only card that benefits from coins, so adding spenders would defeat the purpose of the deck.
