They tell you that 25 power Tatterwing is enough. Maybe. But what if there is natural and almost completely safe method to enlarge the Tatterwing?
Alpha Werewolf is not the worst card to include in Tatterwing, because of strong deploy effect and possibility of carryover play, which but for Hive Mind on drypass is lacking in normal decks.
Decoy has natural synergy with Tatterwing decks and isn't much explored there (maybe because 1-power body has little change to stick outside surprise value). Alpha Werewolf is a great target; we lose just one point of tempo to get back 4-power AW and use it again in the appropriate moment.
Tatterwing is probably the strongest Monsters deck right now after Lara Dorren buff to 4-power in April 2025 Gwent patch; even including a tiny meme part doesn't change the picture much as you'd see in the featured games. My score with this deck is +7 -0.
