Specifically created to counter some of the control heavy meta decks such as NR Siege and SY Bounty, this SK self wound deck is perfect to tank the new heavy hitters in town.

Mulligan advice: try to keep the Adepts out of your hand, especially if you have Portal in hand. Portal is guaranteed to pull both of them out for 14 points and a lot of armour. The most brickable card aside from them is Hym if you can't combo it with Olaf or Vildkaarl. If you have Geralt Quen, it's advised to keep Arnaghad in the deck.

Round 1 should be pretty straightforward with Portal and the double Bear Witcher Adepts. Put a Priest to the left of one Adept and use your Megascope to copy one of the Adepts on the other row for a huge amount of defence. Alternatively you can play Armor Up and the Quartermasters to fill up the board quickly and finish up with a Mentor from Haern Caduch.

You can even burn Vildkaarl or Covenant of Steel in round 1 to take the round since you can resurrect either of them with Sigrdrifa's Rite in the next round.

Round 2/3 should be all about your combos. Since most of the witchers have an adrenaline trigger, you could possible be forced to start out with Olaf or Vildkaarl. Vildkaarl can be easily triggered with your leader ability (+ maybe a Priest). Olaf needs to survive a turn but can then be damaged once and swapped with Hym for a massive 28 point play. At 4 cards, you should play Geralt Quen into Arnaghad for some massive damage or even possibly denying your opponent their final units (unless he's at risk of being stolen). Covenant of Steel can protect everything and Korathi can be used to take out the biggest threat, most likely the scenario such as Masquerade Ball and Siege.

Card replacement options: the 7 provision slots could be swapped out for Leo (who benefits from a lot of witchers) and Gremist (to have a purify option).
