I played thronebreaker recently and wanted to get my Lyrian patriotism fired up again. The core of the deck is the mutagenerator, reaver scouts and the lyrian arabalests. Using the reaver scouts and all the other spawning options at your disposal, you can play an absurd number of Lyrian arbalests, and by playing them on the melee row with mutagenerator gain an extra 5 points of boost each time. They also gain a charge each time a new one is played so you can use them to take out troublesome units. You can also pair them with trollololo to effectively double the number of points a charge is worth, but this sometimes feels excessive.
Don't feel bad about using leader up in the first round, reynard and meve plus a scout and a few landsknechts can usually take round 1 if you use leader. I like to aim for a long round 3, and use idarran + garrison to create a few scouts to start off with. opponents tend to murder idarran very quickly so I play vial or donimir first to give him some survivability.
Once this deck gets going there is very little that can stop it, the problem is of course getting going. There are a few cards
with more powerful alternatives, but I put them in here for thematic purposes.
Enjoy!
