In March 2025 Gwent Patch we've seen Siege Support buff to 5-power. This card's melee effect perfect synergizes with decks playing Cooldown. Moreover, Zeal on order can be very useful for example when used on Kaedweni Revenants.

Ves is another Zeal giving card which seen buff in previous balance councils. It is a decent card right now - not very strong but good enough to find place in homebrew Zeal or Stockpile decks.

Are these Zeal givers, supported with Amphibious Assault, enough to host King Demavend? Well, we play poker here, but with 3 Kings in hand (Demavend, Henselt, Radovid). Answering Zeal givers with so many threats in the deck is extremely unlikely.

The payoff from Demavend is huge in many ways. Unanswered Demavend is of win condition value itself and also can be combined with leader and Henselt. Moreover Demavend can work as a tutor which is otherwise very lacking in Devotion Stockpile or as a thinning card.

Deck felt really strong, but may suffer against decks requiring tall control, like Self-wound.
